Results of a search warrant executed on the property of Wayne Thomas Patterson in October 2006.

Andrew kelly made this Official Information request to New Zealand Police

The request was successful.

From: Andrew kelly

Dear New Zealand Police,

On the 26th October 2006, the New Zealand Police executed a search warrant on the property of - subsequently-convicted benefit fraudster - Wayne Thomas Patterson in Massey, Auckland.

During the course of this search, the media reported the New Zealand Police had found a 'number' of New Zealand passports.

I would like, please, to obtain a listing or report of what the search warrant executed on the property of Wayne Thomas Patterson did, in fact, uncover.

On the understanding that this would have no effect on the outcome of any current court cases as Wayne Thomas Patterson pleaded guilty on all charges (November 2006) - and was subsequently sentenced to prison (October 2007).

Yours faithfully,

Andrew kelly

I'd advise sending personal information by email rather than posting it in a public forum. The address format is "firstname.lastname@police.govt.nz"
