Money spent on software licencing
Terry Jones made this Official Information request to University of Waikato
Response to this request is long overdue. By law University of Waikato should have responded by now (details and exceptions). The requester can complain to the Ombudsman.
From: Terry Jones
Dear University of Waikato,
I would like to see how much money the University of Waikato have spend on various software licences over the last 5 years. The software in question is:
- Microsoft Windows XP
- Microsoft Office
- Adobe Photoshop
Yours faithfully,
Terry Jones

Dear University of Waikato,
I am still awaiting a response to my initial request which is now overdue. Could you please organise for this information to be sent to me, as soon as possible.
Yours faithfully,
Terry Jones

I think given that it says explicitly "annotations ... are not sent to University of Waikato." We need the original filer of this request to file a complaint with the Ombudsman, or somehow get in touch with University of Waikato to remind them that this request exists

Hi,
I have re-submitted my request direct to the University of Waikato.
Regards, Terry

Did you receive a response? It'd be great if you could post it here as there are others interested in similar information.
Things to do with this request
- Add an annotation (to help the requester or others)
- Download a zip file of all correspondence

We, too, would like this information about software licensing expenditure by the University. We note that the previous request is now a couple of years overdue. We (the New Zealand Open Source Society - http:/nzoss.org.nz) will be publicising this major lapse by the University, so the more rapidly it is corrected, the better.
