This enquiry can be answered in parts as various information comes to
hand.
The reinjection well details are below. The start and finish dates refer
to drilling.
Collar Total Depth
Well E (NZMG) N (NZMG) (masl) (m) Start Date Finish Date
Groover-1 2694794.00 6411163.00 15.0 455.67 19/09/2006 25/09/2006
All return fluid reporting to the surface immediately after a Hydraulic
Fracturing event was disposed of off-site to an approved facility.
Subsequently a total of 2339m3 was reinjected into the Groover Well with
the majority of this fluid being made Coal Seam Gas water.
It is estimated that out of this 2339m3 a theoretical maximum of 534m3 was
fracturing fluid was reinjected into Groover. This being the difference
between volume injected and disposed of offsite.
Of this estimated amount 1.3% of 534m3 (~6.94m3) was fracturing chemical
with 98.7% water and sand.
Will get back to you within a few days with the chemical makeup.
Regards
Perry Empson
