Dear Crown Law Office,

I would like to request information under the Official Information Act from Crown Law relating to when Crown Law brings civil proceedings. Specifically:
* Please provide any written guidelines (or other rules, etc) that are taken into account by Crown Law when they determine whether to initiate or continue civil proceedings
* If no such written guidelines exist, please provide information summarising the factors/criteria applied by Crown Law when they determine whether to initiate or continue civil proceedings.

I would prefer to receive an electronic response. Queries about this request will be automatically forwarded to me by the
fyi.org.nz website.

With regards to section 12 of the OIA, I am a New Zealand citizen.
