     Dear Minister for Consumer Affairs,

    

     The power switch website is run with information provided by

     "Consumer NZ" and the Ministry for Consumer Affairs.

    

     I would like to request the following information under the

     Official Information Act 1982:

    

     * How is the pricing information from the electricity retailers,

     published in the website, captured?

    

     * How frequently is this pricing information updated?

    

     * Are there other ways to get a hold of such information that are

     not via the Power Switch website, e.g. a public database?

    

     I would prefer to receive an electronic response. Queries about

     this request will be automatically forwarded to me by the

     fyi.org.nz website.

    

     With regards to s12 of the OIA, I am an NZ permanent resident and

     in NZ.
