Please provide the following:
- issues paper for targeted consultation "Addressing the theft of livestock", provided to the Law Society in 2018 ("the issues paper");
- list of persons to whom the issues paper was distributed;
- any documents discussing the desirability or need for consultation on the addition of the the proposed new offences to the Crimes Act discussed in the issues paper; and
- any documents discussing the merits of adding the new offences to the Crimes Act via a SOP applying to the then Crimes Amendment Bill versus a new Bill.

Dear Mr Connell,

 

I am just writing to correct an error in the letter sent to you on 11
April 2019, extending the due date for your OIA request. In that letter,
we extended the timeframe for responding by 10 working days under section
15A(1)(b) of the Act and noted that you would receive a response by 25
April 2019.  We have realised that the date of 25 April did not take into
account the public holidays over the Easter break and that a ten working
day extension actually takes the due date to 30 April 2019.  We apologise
for any confusion and will respond to your request on or before 30 April
2019.
