Dear Inland Revenue Department,

I filed an OIA in 2017 regarding rental housing income and loss. Please see the following link:

I was given an Excel file which shows the DOLLAR AMOUNT ($m) of rental profit, rental loss and total net rental for 85 regions from 1997 to 2016.

Could you please give me the NUMBER OF TAX RETURNS that generated rental profit for the same 85 regions from 1997 to 2016 and the NUMBER OF TAX RETURNS that generated rental loss for the same 85 regions from 1997 to 2016?

Your help is sincerely appreciated. The purpose of this OIA is to conduct an academic study.
