Recently, government ministers announced funding under the Provincial Growth Fund for service upgrades of the TranzAlpine and the Coastal Pacific passenger train services.
Can you please provide information on what the funding for these service upgrades will be applied to.

Can you please release documentation on the TranzAlpine and Coastal Pacific service upgrades, including a detailed breakdown of costs.

On behalf of the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment I
acknowledge your email of 04 December 2018 requesting under the Official
Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following:

 

·        Recently, government ministers announced funding under the
Provincial Growth Fund for service upgrades of the TranzAlpine and the
Coastal Pacific passenger train services.

·        Can you please provide information on what the funding for these
service upgrades will be applied to.

 

·        Can you please release documentation on the TranzAlpine and
Coastal Pacific service upgrades, including a detailed breakdown of costs.

 

Please note that the days from 25 December 2018 to 15 January 2019
(inclusive) are defined as non- working days in the Act and are not
counted in the calculation for the response due date. This will affect the
time period for responding to your request.
