Of the recent deaths from meningitis (2018) please advise how many of
those had received a vaccine for this disease prior to death, also numbers
of cases of meningitis hospitalisation, and of those how many had received
a vaccine for meningitis prior to hospitalisation.

The Ministry's reference number for your request is: H201808038.

As required under the Act we will endeavour to respond to your request no
later than 18 January 2018.

Please note, the three weeks between Christmas Day and 15 January the
following year do not count as working days. This means that any OIA or
LGOIMA request submitted from now may take a bit longer.
