Dear Auckland Council,

 

Google Earth Pro provides historical images, in particular it provides an
image dated 12/1963 of the North Shore of Auckland ie devonport to longbay
inclusive of greenhithe.

 

It suggests the image is provided by NASA.

 

-Could you provide details to the acuracy of the image date of 12/1963.

 

-Whether the image is taken from an aeroplane or satellite

 

- details of the plane/satellite if possible.

 

-Is there similar age/source image in Councils possession for the rest of
the Auckland region.
