Wellington to Hutt Valley Cycleway progress
Peter Ramage made this Official Information request to New Zealand Transport Agency
The request was successful.
From: Peter Ramage
Dear New Zealand Transport Agency,
There has been no update on the progress of the Wellington to Hutt Valey link active transport project in more than a year. Moreover, there has been no updated timeline for when taxpayers can expect the project to be completed since 2015. This is extremely concerning fo such a regionally significant strategic transport project.
I would like to request, under the OIA, the latest timeline for the completion of all components and work streams of the Wellington to Hutt Valley cycleway, as well as all relevant documents describing the status of the project as of today.
Please also provide all relevant factors that have resulted in the failure to deliver the most recent publicly available timeline (from 2015), whereby the Petone - Melling and Ngauranga - Wellington sections were to be complete by mid 2018, and the design and construction of the Petone - Ngauranga section was to be underway.
Regards,
Peter Ramage
