Resolution Rates for Specific Offences
Lance O'Riley made this Official Information request to New Zealand Police
New Zealand Police did not have the information requested.
From: Lance O'Riley
Dear New Zealand Police,
I am requesting the following information.
The number of all reported offences (regardless of resolution) which in the event of a conviction would likely qualify for a strike under the Sentencing and Parole Reform Act 2010 for each of the following years.
2010, 2011, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018.
I understand that some statistics are available on the police.govt website however these are general in nature and would require speculation on what offences would qualify as a strike rather than a specific answer.
Yours faithfully,
Lance O'Riley

Dear New Zealand Police,
I am just emailing in regard to this request as by law there should have been a response by August 28th, 2018. It is now September 10, 2018 and this has not yet occurred and there has been no response advising of an extension.
Can you please advise what the status of this request is and when I can expect a response.
Yours faithfully,
