I understand that you are the Minster in charge of the regional development fund that is contributing roughly $1 million for the upgrade of the Russell Wharf.
Please provide all comunications that your office has sent or received from Far North District Council, Far North Holdings Limited, or the Russell Wharf and Waterfront Trust related to the upgrade of the Russell Wharf, and related to the provision of regional development funding for that upgrade.
These communications should include any draft(s) and final business case provided, any prior advice provided by you or your Department on the business case, any communications with or from any of the Directors of Far North Holdings Limited, or with or from the Far North Mayor, plus all other communications including emails, letters, communications recorded on file note and so on.
For the purpose of making official information requests I confirm I am a New Zealand citizen resident in New Zealand.

I refer to your official information request below.
The Official Information Act requires that we advise you of our decision
on your request no later than 20 working days after the day we received
your request. Unfortunately, it will not be possible to meet that time
limit and we are therefore writing to notify you of an extension of the
time to make our decision, to 6 September 2018.
This extension is necessary because request necessitates a search through
a large quantity of information and meeting the original time limit would
unreasonably interfere with our operations.
