From: Luke Blackbeard
Gore District Council
Good evening,
Thanks for your enquiry. The Gore District Council employs 11 people in
its public libraries. The Council does not have any library employees
employed to work 40 hours per week. However, the Council considers 37.50 a
week to be full time and four employees are employed to work 37.50 hours
per week.
I have not disclosed the
number of those being paid less than $20.55 per hour under section 7 (2) (a) of the Local
Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987,
ie to protect the privacy of natural persons, including that of
deceased natural persons. In line with local government policy for
disclosing remuneration, we do not provide statistics where
it may be possible to identify remuneration for individuals.
You have the right to seek a review of our response
by way of complaint to the Ombudsman, under section 27(3) of the Local
Government Official Information and Meetings Act 1987.
Kind regards
Luke
