1.     Further to your request for information dated 29 June 2018
regarding Library Employment Information, I am now able to provide you
with Napier City Council’s response.

 

2.     You requested:

 

Please supply:

- the number of people employed in your public library service.

- the number of people employed in your public library service being paid
less than $20.55 per hour.

 

3.     Response:

 

Napier City Council has 41 staff in Libraries, 35 permanent and six
casual.  

 

Of those, 19 are paid less than $20.55 per hour. This includes the six
casual staff, four of whom are student shelvers.
