Dear Auckland Council,

I'm presently assisting my elderly parents to improve the warmth of their home, and to reduce the negative effects of cold and damp.

Can you please advise if the Council provides any assistance (financial or otherwise) to ratepayers looking to purchase or install under-floor or ceiling insulation - particularly for holders of community service cards and senior citizen cards.

Hi Nick,

I refer to your request which we received on 27 May 2018, concerning information in relation to Insulation subsidies.

If your home is cold, damp or not well insulated, and you meet the eligibility criteria, you can apply for financial assistance through our Retrofit Your Home programme.
