Neither the Office of the Controller and Auditor General nor the Minister for Local Government were able/willing to provide a meaningful response to the above questions ( sent 15th of May 2018 ) and we're still awaiting a response from Archives NZ and Auckland Council sent on 15th of May 2018.
If you need any more information from me please let me know as soon as possible.
I understand that a decision on a request for information under the [OIA/LGOIMA] should be made within 20 working days of receiving that request.
If you do not normally deal with official information requests, or you need advice on dealing with this request, guidance is available from the Ombudsman at www.ombudsman.parliament.nz

A representative from the Department of Internal Affairs contacted us today to note that they had responded to this request in 2018 but it was evidently not processed correctly. They have indicated they are willing to re-upload their response soon, and we are assisting them in doing so.
Edit: We have also removed personal contact information from the original outgoing message.
