Dear The Treasury,
Please supply any documents held by Treasury (including reports, briefings, aide-mémoires and other documents) that discuss universal basic income proposals, pilots or initiatives.
For clarity, I am interested in any document that discusses universal basic income pilot schemes, negative income taxes, unconditional cash transfers, and any document that discusses design issues associated with introducing a universal basic income. I am also interested in any papers on this topic that were presented to the 2010 Tax Working Group because I cannot find these documents on Victoria University's website. I am also interested in any papers that have been presented to the current Tax Working Group on this topic, but I am not interested in submissions made by the public to either TWG.
Please note that I am only interested in documents since 1 January 2000.
