Dear Auckland District Health Board,
As a Specified Organisation ADHB is required under the VCA to screen any persons employed as Childrens workers using the definition provided in the Act. Childrens workers can be either "Core' or "non-core".
Can you please advise:
1. How many employment positions ADHB has in total.
2. How many of the total employees have been designated as Core Children's Workers?
3. How many of the total employees have been designated as non-core Children's workers?
4. The total cost to ADHB to date of VCA checks on ADHB employees, broken down as Police check costs, Personnel (HR and manager) and other costs?
5. How many existing employees were discovered to have something that prevented them from continuing to be employed as a children's worker as a result of the VCA checks?
