Visa waiver facility for Indonesian Citizens

Ivan R made this Official Information request to Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Ivan R to read a recent response and update the status.

From: Ivan R

Dear Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade,

As the Government of the Republic of Indonesia has already provided citizens of New Zealand with visa-free facility since 2015 and that Indonesian citizens were once eligible for visa-free facility to visit New Zealand (which was revoked in 1998), I am wondering if the Government of New Zealand does have any plan in the near future to once again include Indonesia into the visa waiver recipient list?

Yours faithfully,

Ivan R
