Dear Auckland Transport,
I'd like to officially make a Freedom of Information request for a footage of either of the intersections stated in the "Subject/Summary" whichever could possibly show to help track the Registration of a Motorcycle involved in a vehicle collision to us for Claims and Insurance purposes.This has already been reported to the Police and under investigation.
Date of Accident: January 24, 2018
Time: Between 4.15PM to 4.25PM
Motorcycle(and its Registration - Unknown) stopping or travelling close to White Toyota Wish(Rego HDQ213) on Rosebank Rd heading towards SH16 Motorway/Patiki Rd. In the intersection of Rosebank Rd/Eastdale Rd/Avondale Rd traffic lights, this Motorcyle is behind the White Toyota Wish in a red Light. The accident however happened 20 to 40 meters after this intersection though. And in the intersection traffic lights in Rosebank Rd/Ash St, the Motorcycle is on the left side(left lane) from the White Toyota Wish. The Motorcycle being the first in the left lane and the White Toyota Wish on second or third in the right lane on a red light per driving direction given.

Thank you for contacting Auckland Transport on 16 February 2018 requesting
CCTV footage from the traffic lights at the intersection of Rosebank
Rd/Eastdale Rd/Avondale Rd or Rosebank Rd/Ash St, relating to a collision
on 24 January between 4:15pm to 4:25pm.
The Auckland Transport Operations Centre has reviewed our cameras and
confirmed we do not have cameras at the intersection of Rosebank
Rd/Eastdale Rd, and therefore no footage is available of this area.
However, Auckland Transport has a traffic camera at the intersection of
Rosebank Rd/Ash St, and the footage taken on the above date and time has
now been saved.
Unfortunately Auckland Transport does not supply CCTV footage directly to
members of the public due to reasons of privacy. Available footage of a
specific incident or alleged crime will only be released to the New
Zealand Police, upon receipt of a request from them.
Please advise the New Zealand Police about the available footage relating
to reference number 180207/4395, and to contact the writer directly to
arrange pick-up of the relevant footage.
Should you believe that we have not responded appropriately to your
request, you have the right in accordance with section 27(3) of the LGOIMA
to make a complaint to the Office of the Ombudsman to seek an
investigation and review of the decision.
