Thank you for contacting Auckland Transport on 16 February 2018 requesting
CCTV footage from the traffic lights at the intersection of Rosebank
Rd/Eastdale Rd/Avondale Rd or Rosebank Rd/Ash St, relating to a collision
on 24 January between 4:15pm to 4:25pm.

 

The Auckland Transport Operations Centre has reviewed our cameras and
confirmed we do not have cameras at the intersection of Rosebank
Rd/Eastdale Rd, and therefore no footage is available of this area.
However, Auckland Transport has a traffic camera at the intersection of
Rosebank Rd/Ash St, and the footage taken on the above date and time has
now been saved.

 

Unfortunately Auckland Transport does not supply CCTV footage directly to
members of the public due to reasons of privacy. Available footage of a
specific incident or alleged crime will only be released to the New
Zealand Police, upon receipt of a request from them.

 

Please advise the New Zealand Police about the available footage relating
to reference number 180207/4395, and to contact the writer directly to
arrange pick-up of the relevant footage.

 

Should you believe that we have not responded appropriately to your
request, you have the right in accordance with section 27(3) of the LGOIMA
to make a complaint to the [1]Office of the Ombudsman to seek an
investigation and review of the decision.
