Dear Ms MacPherson
ACC acknowledges your request below, which we are considering as a request for Official Information under the Official Information Act, 1982 (the Act).

We would like to clarify the following with you:
- are you requesting information in respect of specific individuals that you could identify to us, or alternatively
- are requesting information with regard to any and all ACC case managers and assessors?

Unfortunately, if your request is for the latter it is likely ACC would decline to provide the data as it would require us to undertake substantial research and collation. While we could consider charging you for this work, it is our view this would not be practical as the work required to fulfil your request would interfere with ACC's ability to carry out its Official Information services. However, we may be able to provide some information if you were to reduce the scope of your request (as provided for by section 18 A of the Act).

Therefore, please respond to this email if you wish to reduce the scope or provide clarification of your request, by Friday 9 February 2018.

Yours sincerely

Dear Ms MacPherson

Our apologies - the acknowledgement email we sent on 7 February 2018 stated the incorrect date. The correct due date is 6 March 2018, based on your clarification email sent on 5 February 2018.

Our response is now ready and has been sent to your personal email address.

This decision is made based on the following:

Section 16(2)(c) of the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act), allows an organisation to make information available in a way other than the preferred method of the requestor if it would prejudice an interest in sections 6, 7 or 9.

The information you have requested contains personal information about a third party. ACC’s view is that releasing the information on the FYI website would prejudice those third party privacy interests.

Yours sincerely
