Dear Auckland Transport,
My name is megha. I would like to request you about a footage of mount wellington exit to signal lights near burger king near sylvia park. I was involved in a very harrassing and abusive incident. One driver was abusing me and broke my side mirror leaving me terrified enough that i couldnt pay attention his number plate.
Can i please request to send me a footage of mount wellington exit and signal lights mentioned above between 2:20pm to 2:40 pm so that i can report the same.

Dear Megha,

 

Thank you for contacting Auckland Transport on 13 and 15 January 2018
requesting CCTV footage of the Mount Wellington exit to the lights near
Burger King at Sylvia Park mall, between 2:20pm and 2:40pm on 13 January.

 

The Auckland Transport Operations Centre have reviewed our cameras and
advised that we do not hold any footage relating to this incident.
Auckland Transport only one have a camera for the motorway in this area,
which unfortunately was not pointing in the direction of Sylvia Park. Your
request is therefore refused under section 17(e) of the Local Government
Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA), as the footage
requested does not exist. 

 

We regret that we are unable to assist you further at this time. Should
you believe that we have not responded appropriately to your request, you
have the right in accordance with section 27(3) of the LGOIMA to make a
complaint to the [1]Office of the Ombudsman to seek an investigation and
review of the decision.
