the following information:

 

§  A description of what data you have that records bus locations over the
past year, including data generated by the GPS trackers used to power your
real-time boards.

§  A description of what data you have that records the times at which
buses arrived at their scheduled stops generated over the past year.

 

Our Subject Matter Expert advises the following:

 

AT has a very comprehensive data set on the movement of our scheduled
buses. In theory, and mostly in practice,  every bus that runs a scheduled
trip is tracked by GPS, specifically at the time it enters and exits bus
stops.

 

There are over 6000 bus stops in Auckland. On a weekday we run around
11000 bus trips. So there is a very large data set for this.

 

All of this tracking  in real time provides data to the real time boards
in the form of a prediction.

 

The data is stored in our data warehouse and can be accessed over a period
of years.
