IPT Decision-Successfull/Reassesment time frames INZ

Dear Ministry of Business, Innovation & Employment,

I would like to make an OIA request as I am unable to find any appropriate division on INZ website where I can search for time frames regarding reassessment by INZ.

Can you please advise if the IPT decision is successful and the file is being sent back to INZ for reconsideration , what is a generic time frame that INZ gives a decision after reassessing the resident file again?

Please note: I am totally aware about the time frames for the SMC resident file decision time frames , however considering that the decision was incorrect from INZ , how long more does generally INZ takes to give the decision out after reassessing the file?

A prompt reply would be highly appreciated.

Dear Anchal,

Residence applications that are referred for reassessment by the Immigration and Protection Tribunal are generally allocated to an Immigration Office within 7 days. The processing time once allocated is the same as for other residence applications and this is because the officer must conduct an assessment against all the relevant instructions before a decision can be made on the application.
