Record-keeping compliance
Ross Francis made this Official Information request to Archives New Zealand Te Rua Mahara o te Kāwanatanga
The request was successful.
From: Ross Francis
Dear Archives New Zealand Te Rua Mahara o te Kāwanatanga,
In its response to me of 10 August 2017, Archives New Zealand (ANZ) said its approach to record-keeping compliance has been to use the “range of powers available under the PRA”.
Since the introduction of the PRA, has ANZ prosecuted – or sought to prosecute – any government agency or ministry regarding non-compliance? Has ANZ named any government agency or ministry in its annual report in regards to potential or actual non-compliance? If so, which government agency or ministry has been named and or prosecuted, and for what alleged breach was any such action taken?
Since the introduction of the PRA, how many complaints has ANZ received about the record-keeping of specific government agencies or ministries?
Since the introduction of the PRA, which ministries or government agencies have been complained about and how many complaints have been made about each of those ministries or government agencies?
Yours faithfully,
Ross Francis
