Dear Graeme Budler,
The protocol for a request under the Freedom of Information Act is via the specialised fyi.org.nz website. That is why I can only write to you in this format and not from a private email address. My credentials have already been checked by that organisation, otherwise I would not be allowed to make this request, so you need have no concerns about who I am.
All you need to know is that as a New Zealand citizen, I am entitled to make this request and under the Act, I am not required to supply a reason.
I believe this is the first time that Kingsway School has been asked to respond to an enquiry, so perhaps you are not familiar with the processes involved.

All good. I have just chatted to the school nurse and she has clarified that she has no record of the uptake of this vaccine as she sends the paper copies to Waitamata Health. I do, however, give you permission to have this information as long as you keep the confidentialiaty of the parents of the students. If Waitamata Health wishes to confirm my consent they can contact me directly.
