Hi Destiny

Thank you for your Official Information Act request. I have a couple of
questions about your request that should hopefully allow us to respond to
your request better.

Firstly, the time period you’re looking for is quite extensive and would
require a lot of data collation work which would mean we’d have to charge
a fee. If you can be more specific with the years you’d like information
for that would be great.

I’ve had a chat with one of our Data Analysis’s about how we’d collate
this information for you and we can provide the following information:

1.       Diagnosed bi-polar disorder

2.       Diagnosed clinical depression

3.       Diagnosed insomnia

4.       Diagnosed anxiety disorders

The following you’ve mentioned, we’d need more specific information on
what you’re looking for in order to gather the data:

1.       Seizures - This needs to be more specific. We have no data on the
incidence of seizures in general, but may be able to identify seizures
associated with specific underlying causes e.g. Epilepsy

2.       Abnormal bleeding – Unclear as to what you’re looking for, we’d
need a specific diagnosis to search for e.g. Haemophilia

Death by suicide is only confirmed by the Coroner so we do not hold this
information. Details are held by the Coroner’s Office.

I’m currently seeking clarification as to whether the Ministry of Health
can respond with regard to suicide attempts as they have provided a
response on this before. I will keep you updated on this.

Once I have clarification from you I’ll restart the 20 working day time
frame and we’ll be able to respond to your request.

Best wishes
