Thank you for your Official Information Act request relating to patients admitted with certain
diagnosis, which was received by South Canterbury District Health Board on the 19 July
2017.
As per your revised questions, please see below response.
1. Can you please give me the figures of patients (from 1996 to 2016) with the
below diagnoses:-
Diagnosed bi-polar disorder
Diagnosed clinical depression
Diagnosed insomnia
Diagnosed anxiety disorders
Seizures caused by epilepsy
Diagnosed haemophilia
As discussed via our email correspondence, obtaining the data from 1996 would
incur a charge as per Section 18(f) of the Official Information Act – the information
cannot be made available without substantial collation or research. As per your email
request to provide as much information as possible without a charge, we have
provided information for the past 10 years in the below table. The figures represent
total numbers of patients for each diagnosis.
