MPI decision to grant extension to expiry date to Ecolab NZ Teatspray Hibitane 2 Plus on or around March 2017

Kip Bodle made this Official Information request to Ministry for Primary Industries

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Kip Bodle to read recent responses and update the status.

From: Kip Bodle

Dear Ministry for Primary Industries,

On or around March 2017, MPI granted an extension to expiry date of Ecolab NZ's teatspray product Hibitane 2 Plus. Correspondence from MPI notes that the application for extension was "progressed under urgency".

We request all information pertaining to the application from Ecolab together with information available on the assessment of the application and in granting the extension that is held by MPI.

Our view is that this information is not commercially sensitive and it is in the best interests to the public and participants in the teatspray industry to disclose. We want to ensure that any decision making in this area is clear to all interested parties (including competitors) and that decisions like this are not creating an unfair commercial advantage.

Yours faithfully,

Kip Bodle
CEO
