Dear Environmental Protection Authority,

I would like to request the following information under the Official Information Act 1982:

* all expense information (including but not limited to credit card statements, invoices, reimbursement forms and receipts) for business expenses incurred by your CEO for the period 1 January 2016 to 31 January 2017.

In anticipation of any attempt to refuse on privacy grounds, or to charge, I direct your attention to the Ombudsman's guidance on "Chief executive expenses" (http://www.ombudsman.parliament.nz/syste...), which states that "in most cases, chief executive credit card statements and expense reimbursement claims should be made available with the minimum necessary redactions and at no cost to the requester."

I would prefer to receive an electronic response. Queries about this request will be automatically forwarded to me by the fyi.org.nz website.

Thank you for your request for information. Specifically you requested all expense information (including but not limited to credit card statements, invoices, reimbursements forms and receipts) for business expenses incurred by our CEO for the period 1 January 2016 to 31 January 2017.

We will endeavour to respond to your request as soon as possible and in any event no later than 24 March 2017, being 20 working days after the day your request was received. If we are unable to respond to your request by then, we will notify you of an extension of that timeframe.
