East-West Link - Alternatives, Cost/Benefit and Traffic Modelling?
Nicholas Lee made this Official Information request to New Zealand Transport Agency
The request was partially successful.
From: Nicholas Lee
Dear New Zealand Transport Agency,
Could you provide details on the following about the East-West link (EWL):
1. The cost/benefit modeling done for the existing NZTA design.
2. Traffic modelling for this design - assumptions, base data, calculations, analysis, plans, etc.
3. What alternative designs have been consider - major and minor? Can you provide copies of these designs.
4. Traffic modelling and cost/benefit analysis for all of these alternatives designs.
5. The (potential) rail link that is shown on the existing design. How will this connect to the existing network? What does NZTA see as the timeframe for this link to be completed? ie. along side the overall EWL project or at some later undetermined date?
I'd like this data to support a submission to the upcoming board of inquiry process.
Yours faithfully,
Nicholas Lee
