Dear Mr Johnston

 

On behalf of the Commissioner, I acknowledge your request of 1 February
2017. You asked for ‘any documents relating the formal assessment of
police effectiveness in enforcing cannabis prohibition in New Zealand, for
the years 2015 and 2016.’

 

Unfortunately due to an administrative error, your request was not logged
when it was received by Police. It will now be treated with urgency. I
sincerely apologise for this delay and remind you of your right to lay a
complaint with the Ombudsman.

 

Your request is being actioned and you will be responded to in accordance
