Simon made this Official Information request to New Zealand Police
The request was successful.
From: Simon
Dear New Zealand Police,
Please provide a copy of the Memorandum of Understanding between Trademe and the New Zealand Police.
Trademe keep a record on online sales for the previous six weeks that any person can search. In the event a person believes their property has been stolen and may have been sold on Trademe at an earlier date than what Trademe make available online, what is the minimum market value the goods in question must have in order for the New Zealand Police to request Trademe auction records? If there are any other policies regarding the investigation of stolen goods on Trademe, please provide these policies.
Yours faithfully,
Simon
