Dear Mr Kelly

I refer to your Official Information Act request of 19 July 2016 for the
following information:

"all emails and any other forms of communications between Police officer
Joe Holden, Gloabal Sar Services, The SAR Secreteriate, Peter Corbet and
all of people listed as Peer reviews regarding Peter Corbetts paper on
Probability of detection that was provided to the Coroner of the Fiona
Wills inquest"

Pursuant to section 15A of the Official Information Act 1982, I advise you
of the requirement to extend the time limit to respond to your requests.
The period of the extension is until 12 September 2016.

The reason for the extension is that the time required for the
consultations necessary to make a decision on the request are such that a
proper response cannot reasonably be made within the original time limit.

You have the right, under section 28(3) of the Official Information Act
1982, to ask the Ombudsman to investigate and review my decision to extend
the time limit for deciding upon your request.

Yours sincerely

Dear THOMSON, Raewyn,
I am disapointed that you have chosen to with hold the information I requested around the POD decissions. It is now obvious to me that the police have no real interest in creating trust and confidance with the New Zealand citizens.

Yours sincerely,

Paul Kelly
