Dear Mr Thomas,

Further to our conversation on 7 October 2016, please find below,
suggested wording which I consider best captures the information you are
seeking, based on our conversations:

Please provide me with information that shows, over the last two financial
years, how you made funding allocation decisions for the following funding
pots:

1)      Partnerships for International Development Fund; and

2)      Public Diplomacy Fund

I am looking to understand how decisions are taken locally i.e.
Wellington, so am not looking for information related to funding pots
managed or allocated off shore.

I would also like to know the value of the funds noted above, the number
of applications received, the number approved and the number declined.

Can you please confirm if you are happy for us to proceed with this
request as worded above.  Please note that as we have not yet commenced
our detailed discovery and due diligence process, it is possible that we
may need to withhold some of the information.  We will make this
assessment as we go through the documents.

Kind regards,

Joana Johnston

This is hopelessly incompetent. Every time they request clarification it's given and then ignored. But late, but follow up ou complaint would likely see progress
