Dear Opotiki District Council,

We have been prompted by the FYI site to communicate that by law you should have responded in full to our FYI request for the 2011 Opotiki District Council monthly building department minutes by June 17 2016.

You omitted to give us the minutes for the meeting scheduled for 5th May 2011 - the month immediately after a significant building department meeting on our site where we brought to your attention the lack of bottom plate straps for bracing elements, the incorrectly nailed Shadowclad and in particular, problems with the Shadowclad bracing elements.

Please send us the missing May 2011 minutes.

Yours faithfully,

David Horwood

Dear Paul Abbot,

Your recent reply does not answer our request. We asked for the May 2011 monthly minutes from the Opotiki District Council Building Department. Instead ODC resent us the minutes for June 2011 with the 'KPIs and objectives All currently achieved?' section highlighted.

There is no record in the 2011 ODC Building Department minutes of our complaint regarding the Shadowclad nailing pattern and bracing element installation, or of the site visit which occurred in April 2011. We can only think that these issues were discussed in the May 2011 meeting and we would like a copy of these minutes.

Yours sincerely,

David Horwood
