Projects and areas for Open Space acquisition under the 2015-25 Long Term Plan

Dear Auckland Council,

The 2015-25 Long Term Plan (LTP) shows that there is around $20m budgeted for land acquisition in the Puketapapa Local Board area over the length of that LTP, for open space.

I am requesting a year by year breakdown, for the ten years of the LTP, of the following information:
- Budgeted amount for each project
- Project the acquisition is intended for
- Suburb the acquisition is intended to occur within
- Reason for acquisition

This would be usefully presented as in this brief example:

For Westeros Local Board Area

2017/18
$1m - Stark Reserve expansion (project), Winterfell (suburb), expand to meet anticipated housing growth (reason)

2018/19
$2.3m - Riverrun Park and Harrenhal Reserve connection (project), Tully (large suburb), creating connection between adjacent parks (reason)

2019/20
None

2020/21
$2m - New park creation (project), Kings Landing (suburb), anticipated subdivision (reason)

2021/22
$3m - New park creation or expansion, to be determined (project), Dorne (large suburb but still smaller than whole board area), anticipated housing growth (reason)

NB: I am the Chair of the Puketapapa Local Board and have been unable to find out this information internally.
