Dear Mr Reid, thank you for your request of 11 February 2016 asking, under
the Official Information Act 1982, for:

“1. A copy of any evaluation, review, report on, or audit of the Unitec
"Transformation" programme business case undertaken by the TEC. For the
purpose of this request, singular nouns also refer to the plural”.

The consultations necessary to make a decision on the request are such
that a proper response to the request cannot reasonably be made within the
original time limit. Therefore, the Tertiary Education Commission (TEC) is
extending the due date for responding to your request until Thursday 24
March 2016.

Under section 28(3) of the Act you have the right to complain to an
Ombudsman about the TEC’s decision to extend the time limit for responding
to your request.

Yours sincerely

Dear Hugh McIlraith,

Your response was informative, rapid, and is a credit to the TEC. Many agencies show a lack of respect for the OIA and this response shows that you and your organisation do. You are to be commended.

Yours sincerely,

Vincent Reid
