The original OIA asked:

I'm not sure if the reply is automated or not, but regardless:
Your request is still live, and Police still have a legal obligation to respond to it by the due date. The email address they are asking you to use is their ministerial services address - but it is Police's responsibility to internally forward the request to the correct people, not the requester (which would otherwise reset the clock).
Please reply to Police reminding them that they have received your request, and now have a legal obligation under the Official Information Act to handle it - any internal forwarding is their business.
As they have unhelpfully sent you a response from a different, "un-monitored address", when you write your reply make sure to click the link above the text box to send it to "the main OIA contact address for New Zealand Police". That way it will go to the original monitored address, not the unhelpful "un-monitored" one.
