Has this trial gone ahead?
If yes, then:

Was a final site management planned lodged with BOPRC within 20 days of initiating the trial? If so, please provide this.

Have emissions tests been conducted? If so, please provide the results of these tests.

Has the trial been completed? If not, when is it due to be completed?

Has BOPRC been advised of any exceedances of consent conditions?

Have any complaints about operations been received by BOPRC? If so, please provide copies of these.

Local Government Official Information Request – Notification of Decision –
LGOIMA Reference 24-0062

 

I refer to your Request for information under the Local Government
Official Information and Meetings Act 1987 (LGOIMA) which was received by
the Bay of Plenty Regional Council (Council) on 20 May 2024.  The
information requested is provided below.

 

Q: Has this trial gone ahead?

A: Yes, the trial has commenced.

 

Q: Was a final site management planned lodged with BOPRC within 20 days of
initiating the trial? 

A: Yes, please see the attached Site Management Plan. The names and
telephone numbers of individuals (natural persons) have been redacted from
this document to protect their privacy in accordance with section 7(2)(a)
of the LGOIMA.

 

Q: Have emissions tests been conducted? If so, please provide the results
of these tests.

A: The commissioning Stack Testing of the plant is still underway. Council
is awaiting receipt of the initial report.

 

Q: Has the trial been completed?

A: No, it is ongoing at this time.

 

Q: If not, when is it due to be completed?

A: 1 September 2024.

 

Q: Has BOPRC been advised of any exceedances of consent conditions?

A: No exceedances have been reported by the consent holder or detected by
Council during site inspections.

 

Q: Have any complaints about operations been received by BOPRC?

A: No complaints have been received by Council in relation to this
operation/consent.
