Under the Official Information Act 1982, I request the following information relating to data centres operating in New Zealand.

1) Any information held on the annual electricity consumption of data centres in New Zealand, including estimated or actual electricity demand by individual facilities where available.
2) Any information held on the annual water consumption of data centres in New Zealand, including potable water, recycled water, and consented water takes where available.
3) Any reports, modelling, assessments, or briefings relating to the projected growth in electricity or water demand from existing or proposed data centres.
4) Any correspondence, reports, or advice provided to Ministers regarding the impact of data centres on New Zealand's electricity network, electricity generation requirements, water infrastructure, or water resources.
5) Any information on government engagement with data centre operators regarding electricity supply, water use, sustainability, or infrastructure planning.
6) Any environmental assessments or analyses held relating to the carbon emissions, energy efficiency, cooling technologies, or water efficiency of data centres.

If any of the requested information is held by another agency, I request that this request be transferred under section 14 of the Official Information Act.
