Split of rateable values between categories of ratepayers

J P Ward made this Official Information request to Wellington City Council

This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for J P Ward to read a recent response and update the status.

From: J P Ward

Dear Wellington City Council,

I understand from a press release by Quotable Value last year (https://www.qv.co.nz/news/new-rating-val... )
that rating valuations as at 1 September 2024 have been prepared for 82,591 properties on behalf of Wellington City Council by Quotable Value.

The press release states the total rateable value for the district is $98,833,462,501 with the land value of those properties now valued at $51,250,813,101.

Can you please supply a breakdown of these total rateable values into the total for properties subject to residential rates, the total for properties subject to the commercial differential rates and the total for others.

Please provide both capital values and land values.

Yours faithfully,

J P Ward
