Kia ora Michael,
You recently enquire of the Ministry of Transport if there is an
overarching strategy or policy for transport use in Wellington and if such
a document exists, could this be provided.
Such a document exists in the form of the Regional Land Transport Plan
which regional councils must prepare every six years and update every
three. The last RLTP was prepared in 2021 and updated in 2024.
I am enclosing a link to the page where you can find information about the
2021 Plan, the mid-term review in 2027 and work underway to produce the
next RLTP due next year in 2027.
