ERP, MFP and reporting extracts relating to review system expenditure
SPENCER JONES made this Official Information request to Accident Compensation Corporation
Currently waiting for a response from Accident Compensation Corporation, they must respond promptly and normally no later than (details and exceptions).
From: SPENCER JONES
Dear Accident Compensation Corporation,
Kia ora,
Thank you for your response dated 11 March 2026 (reference GOV-046406), which clarified the financial systems used by ACC to record expenditure relating to review proceedings.
Your response confirmed that:
• payments relating to FairWay and ICRA reviews are recorded within the ERP general ledger under GL code 06030
• supplier identifiers are recorded using fields such as Supplier / Supplier Number
• claim-level payment transactions are processed through the MFP provider payments system
• some reporting tables relating to external legal counsel payments are sourced from the ACC data warehouse.
In light of that clarification, I now request the following information under the Official Information Act 1982.
⸻
1. ERP General Ledger Extract – GL Code 06030
Please provide a dataset or extract showing entries recorded under GL code 06030 for the financial years:
• 2020/21
• 2021/22
• 2022/23
• 2023/24
• 2024/25 (to date if partial)
For each entry, please include the following fields where available:
• financial year
• supplier name
• supplier number
• transaction date
• transaction amount
• description or reference field.
⸻
2. Supplier-level expenditure summary
Please provide a summary table showing total annual expenditure by supplier under GL code 06030 for the same financial years.
⸻
3. MFP Provider Payments System – Vendor payments relating to review proceedings
Please provide a dataset or summary showing payments processed through the MFP provider payments system relating to review proceedings under Part 5 of the Accident Compensation Act 2001 for the same financial years.
If full transaction-level extracts would be substantial, a summary table by vendor and financial year would be acceptable.
⸻
4. External legal counsel expenditure
Please provide a table showing total annual payments to external legal counsel relating to review or appeal proceedings under Part 5 of the Accident Compensation Act 2001 for the same financial years.
⸻
5. Reporting datasets
Where reporting tables have previously been extracted from the ACC data warehouse, please provide the datasets or tables used to generate those reporting outputs, to the extent they relate to:
• FairWay review expenditure
• ICRA review expenditure
• external legal counsel expenditure.
⸻
Format
If possible, I would prefer the information in a spreadsheet or CSV format.
If any part of this request is considered likely to require substantial collation or research under section 18(f), I would welcome assistance under section 13 to refine the request while retaining access to the core datasets.
⸻
Kind regards,
Spencer Jones
