Under the OIA, I'd like to request a list of OIA requests that Judith Collins's office has received between January 1 2024 and the present. Please include the following columns in the list: the reference number assigned to the request (if there is any, if not feel free to exclude this column), what the request was requesting, the date on which the request was received, the date on which a decision was made on the request, and the decision that was made on the request (i.e. whether the request was refused, whether information was released, or whether only some information was released and there were some withholding or redactions. Please include the exact sections of the OIA exemptions were made under if any.)

The Office of Hon Judith Collins KC MP will be closed from midday on 24
December, re-opening on Thursday 8 January. This email address will not be
monitored during that time. The office will have reduced staffing during
January. Responses will be slower than usual until Tuesday 20 January. If
someone is in immediate danger, please ring 111. If you are concerned

Thank you for your email dated 8 December 2025 in which you requested,
pursuant to the Official Information Act 1982 (the Act), the following
information:
A list of OIA requests that Judith Collins's office has received between
January 1 2024 and the present. Please include the following columns in
the list: the reference number assigned to the request (if there is any,
if not feel free to exclude this column), what the request was requesting,
the date on which the request was received, the date on which a decision
was made on the request, and the decision that was made on the request
(i.e. whether the request was refused, whether information was released,
or whether only some information was released and there were some
withholding or redactions. Please include the exact sections of the OIA
exemptions were made under if any.
Minister Collins has received nearly 500 OIAs since 1 January 2024. To
answer your request these OIAs need to be compiled, assessed, and the
relevant requesters consulted under the Act. As the scope of your request
covers January 2024 onwards, and given the above, your request is declined
on substantial collation grounds pursuant to section 18(f) of the Act.
Should you wish to re-scope your request in light of this response, you
may may wish to propose a narrower timeframe, specify a topic, or exclude
the content of the request and decision.
Under section 28(3) of the Act you have the right to request the Ombudsman
to investigate and review this response.
