I’m the LGOIMA Business Partner who’s looking into your case

 

I refer to your LGOIMA request dated 16 January 2026. We are granting your
request in part which means that Auckland Transport (AT) holds some, but
not all the information you have asked for.  We are in the process of
gathering the information and it will take us a little bit longer to
prepare the information for release. 

 

We have numbered your questions in the order of your request.

We have decided to grant the following requests:

1. Does FENZ have access to the Auckland Transport CCTV system on the FENZ
Network, or at any FENZ locations such as Region or District Headquarters?

2. How often is the CCTV system accessed by FENZ personnel?

i. What is the number of personnel who have access to this system?

ii. What are the positions and/or rank of personnel who have access?

iii. What is the purpose of having access to this system?

5. Did FENZ have personnel at the Auckland Transport Control Centre during
the strike action (in the last 6 months)?

5ii. If yes, how many personnel were deployed to this location?

5iii. How many Auckland Transport staff were present at the Auckland
Transport Control Centre, and provide their names or position titles.

 

We estimate the information will be ready by 20 February 2026. 

 

We have decided to refuse the following requests under Section 17(e) of
the LGOIMA as the information does not exist:

 

3.  Is there an agreement, or MOU, in place between FENZ and Auckland
Transport relating to CCTV?

4. What actions were undertaken by Auckland Transport relating to FENZ,
during the strike action (in the last 6 months).

5i. If yes, what was the purpose outlined to Auckland Transport of
personnel being at this location?

5a. Did Auckland Transport have personnel at any FENZ locations during the
strike action (in the last 6 months)?

i. If yes, why was the purpose of personnel at these locations?

ii. If yes, how many personnel were deployed to these locations, and what
was the locations?

6. All written communications between Auckland Transport and FENZ relating
to the CCTV systems in the last 6 months.

 

Should you believe that we have not dealt with your request appropriately,
you are able to make a complaint to the Office of the Ombudsman in
accordance with section 27(3) of the LGOIMA Act and seek an investigation
and review regarding this matter.
