Dear Manawatu-Wanganui Regional Council,
This is a request under LGOIMA 1987
Pursuant to S10 of the LGOIMA Act 1987, I request the following
information related to MWLASS ( Manawatu-Whanganui Shared Services) and
Debt Management Central , a council controlled organisation and related
debt collection agency:

1. All invoices, timesheets and fee summaries from external legal counsel
for work on the above case - CIV-2024-454-74 [2025] NZHC 351 from date of
service of documents 16th August 2024 to current date ( present),

2. Internal budgeting and actual costs for the matter including staff time
and disbursements,

3. Any council funding and approval or subsidies to the CCO for litigation
expenses,

This information is relevant to assessing party- party costs under High
Court Rules scale 2B/2C and public accountability under the Local
Government Act 2002 section 6.

Kindly provide the information in electronic format PDF/Excel within 20
working days per section 15 of the LGOIMA Act 1987.
If any part is withheld, specify reasons under S17 ( e.g. legal privilege)
with details for Ombudsman review

Contact me via email for clarification.
No charges apply unless notified under S16 but as this is a public
interest case, It would be prejudicial to do so.
