International Deployment Revenue
Alan Thompson made this Official Information request to Fire and Emergency New Zealand
This request has an unknown status. We're waiting for Alan Thompson to read a recent response and update the status.
From: Alan Thompson
Dear Fire and Emergency New Zealand,
The 2024/25 Annual Report advised that:
"Other revenue and interest was $41.3 million for
the year. This was $16.0 million (63.3%) higher than
budget largely due to cost recoveries for international
wildfire deployments, and notional revenue to reflect
the market value of equipment and services received
under arrangements with Next Generation Critical
Communications in delivering the Public Safety Network".
Under the provisions of the Official Information Act please advise:
1. What were the revenues for the International Deployments undertaken by FENZ in the 2024/25 year totalled by country?
2. What were the expenses against this revenue for the 2024/25 year including payments to FENZ personnel deployed, payments to non FENZ personnel, travel, accom and any other costs?
3. What were the FTE of staff assigned to manage and administer international deployments in 2024/25?
4. What was the number of FENZ personnel deployed in 2024/25?
5. What was the number of non-FENZ personnel deployed in 2024/25?
Yours faithfully,
Alan Thompson
