Dear Independent Police Conduct Authority,

Hope you might advise why the all day presence of police at the protest site cnr Brougham and Garlands on Saturday 6 December this year.

I confess it is only curiosity but it raised a lot of local interest and concern, which I can allay with your information.

My expectation is that there was intelligence on disruption to the rail line.
